כמה שנים טובות אחורה. אני סטודנט בניסאן טרנטה על כביש החוף וסערה משוגעת בחוץ. רוחות מטורפות וגשם זלעפות. הראות צונחת לכמעט אפס, בקושי רואים את הרכבים מלפנים, הוישרים עובדים בכל הכוח ופתאום (!) רעש חריקה צורם ובשניה אחת אני לא רואה יותר כלום בעודי נוסע כ100 קמ"ש במבול הזה, בלי יכולת לעצור בשוליים (הם מוצפים ויכולים להיכנס בי מאחור) ובלי אפשרות להאט בבטחה.
מה קרה? הווישר – פשוט התפרק לו ושרט את השמשה. מילא השריטה המעצבנת על השמשה שיקר מידי להחליף והציקה לי למשך שנים אחר כך, אבל הנסיעה עצמה הזו זכורה לי כאחת ממהארוכות, הקשות והמלחיצות ביותר שעשיתי מעולם. לנסוע כמעט עיוור על כביש מהיר בזמן סופה מטורפת וגשם זלעפות.
בקיצור – אל תתקעו בלי מגבים רעננים בחורף 🙂
מאז אני מקפיד לבדוק ולהחליף למגבים גמישים חדשים כדי שלעולם לא אתקע כך שוב.
לא נעשה סיפור גדול מווישרים. בדר"כ יש בכל תחנת דלק וחנות ובזול, כ50 שקל לזוג…אבל אני כבר חודש עוצר בתחנות דלק שונות ובכולן משום מה אין במלאי. גם מה שיש כמובן, היא סחורה זולה ופשוטה. מגבי גומי פשוטים שצריך להחליף כל עונה.
ככלל מומלץ לא לקנות את הווישרים הזולים והפשוטים עם מסגרת מתכת…ולהתקדם למגבים הגמישים שעובדים הרבה יותר טוב ושקט יותר (ועם פחות סיכון לשמשה). מומלץ מאוד להשקיע עוד קצת במגבי סיליקון!
בפרט בארץ כשהחורף הוא קצר ורוב השנה הגומי חוטף שמש חזקה ומתייבש במהירות. מגבי סיליקון לעומת זאת יחזיקו לכם לפחות פי 2 כך שלא תהיו חייבים להחליף כל עונה. בקיצור, עולה קצת יותר לרכישה אבל חוסך לכם לכם הרבה זמן, התעסקות ורכישה חדשה בהמשך. גם חווית הנסיעה עדיפה ובטוחה יותר.
גם בעליאקספרס אפשר למצוא וישרים טובים ובגרושים, אבל פשוט נוח יותר לקנות באמזון על הדרך עם משלוח חינם ובפרט מותגים מובילים (ומקוריים) כגון RAINX – שהם המגבים הכי נמכרים באמזון.
אני ממליץ לכם על סדרת הLatitude הבכירה שעולה רק גרוש או שניים יותר מהסדרות הפשוטות יותר אך כוללת גם ציפוי הידרופובי ייחודי לשמשה שלכם שיגרום לגשם פשוט להחליק מהחלון בזמן הנסיעה. גם BOSCH ICON המקבילים מעולים אך לרוב יקרים יותר.
